TML GOES SMALL

SBCs (small bulk containers) and their application have been under investigation for some time by Taylor Minster Leasing (TML).

On 17th March this became a reality when TML with its French collaborative partner Socomat were present at the inauguration ceremony at the NT Tank factory in Nantong China, where their first batch of T14 SBCs were handed over.

TML/Socomat are very appreciative of the 2 years R&D that has been undertaken by NT
Tank. Without NT’s dedication and feasibility studies, this initial order for top quality SBCs built in China and approved by Lloyd’s Register in London, would never have materialised.

SBCs (and IBCs) are available with a wide range of pressure ratings for the smaller volume transport of foodstuff and chemicals as well as liquefied gases.

Fred Bras, CEO of TML, commented, “Within the last 2 years, TML has augmented its impressively diversified fleet with 40’ T75 LNG and 20’ T75 CO2 tanks, this latter now also being offered with a capacity of 22,000 litres against the norm of 19,500 – 20,000 litres.

With regard to SBCs, TML intends to build a significant presence in this most interesting field that adds yet another string to its core business.”
